President's Message

Dear ,

Happy May! As the school year begins to wind down, we find ourselves reflecting on all that we have accomplished together. From successful fundraisers to memorable events, it has been a fantastic year, and none of it would have been possible without your unwavering support and commitment to our school community.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to announce several upcoming events and initiatives. Mark your calendars for Senior Awards Night Monday, May 19th will be a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate our senior students and parents. Additionally, we are still seeking volunteers for this event, so please consider lending a hand if you’re available.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to our outgoing senior families. Your dedication and contributions have left a lasting impact, and you will always be a part of our CVHS family.

Lastly, don’t forget that the last PTO meeting of the year will be held on Thursday May 22^nd. This is an In-Person meeting and will be held in the school cafeteria. We’ll be reviewing the year Voting on new board members and celebrating our achievements. We’d love to see you there!

Senior Awards - Class of 2025!

CVHS PTO is thrilled to host the Senior Awards Night on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 5:30 PM! The evening will kick off with a delicious dinner for all senior students at 5:30 PM, followed by an inspiring awards ceremony. Parents are warmly invited to join this memorable celebration.

Teacher Appreciation Week - April 28th to May 2nd

Over the last two weeks, we’ve celebrated our Teachers, Staff, Principal, Admins, and Nurse. A big thank you to all the parents for your generosity in making this happen!

A special shout-out to Ana-Maria, Eunice, Aileen, Pavani, Lilia, Alex, Thanh, and Gauri for organizing the events. Your efforts made it all possible!

CVHS PTO is pleased to invite nominations for the committee positions for the upcoming school year 2025-26. As a valued part of our school community, we invite you to consider nominating yourself or a fellow parent who is passionate about supporting our school and making a positive impact on our students’ experiences. All current parents/guardians of students at Carnegie who are PTO members are eligible to be nominated.
Nominees must be willing to dedicate time and energy to support the goals of the PTO.

Volunteer Opportunities

After-School Clubs - Parent Volunteers needed

School is looking for parent volunteers to assist the club sponsors during the evening hours in the cafeteria or library while students practice. Volunteers wouldn’t need to actively manage the clubs—just be present and communicate with the campus sponsor if any issues arise. With this support, School could expand after-school study hall beyond just three days a week, which would directly benefit more students. After School Parent Volunteer sign up form
