🍁 Happy October, Fabulous Parents! 🍁
Can you believe it? We’ve made it through the back-to-school chaos, and now we’re diving headfirst into October! Cue the pumpkins, cozy sweaters, and that lovely crisp fall air (or, for some of us, the subtle realization that our kids’ Halloween costumes are still sitting in an online shopping cart—no judgment here!).
Here’s what to expect this month, other than a sugar overload from ahem a few too many candy bars:
Principals Month: We are celebrating our beloved Principal Mr Moss all month. The PTO has partnered with our students to personalize our appreciation this year. Mr Moss Rocks !
PSAT: 8:30am October 16th Grades 9 – 11 will be taking the PSAT. This would be a good day for the kids to be on time to school with plenty of sleep & a full belly .. 😊
Parent Social: The much-awaited parent social is being rescheduled. A new date will be released soon.
🧡 Outreach: This is the time of year when our Outreach committee kicks off. We prepare baskets for CVHS families in need to take home over the thanksgiving break. We need volunteers and donations. Come help out at this festive time of year to share the joy with all CVHS families.
October is shaping up to be full of fun, and we can’t wait to see everyone getting involved! Keep an eye on your inbox and our Facebook, Insta page for updates, reminders, and maybe even some pumpkin spice recipes (because, why not?).
