President's Welcome Letter

Hello, everyone!

I am Gauri Semlani, and it is my privilege to serve as the President of the PTO for Carnegie Vanguard High School this year. On behalf of the PTO, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all of you as we begin another exciting school year.

To our returning families, welcome back! It’s wonderful to see familiar faces and to continue the journey we’ve started together. To our new families, welcome to our school community! We are thrilled to have you join us and look forward to getting to know you.

As we embark on this new academic year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible community we have here. Our school is not just a place for education, but a hub for friendships, growth, and mutual support. The collaboration between parents, teachers, and administrators is what makes our school so special and allows our children to thrive.

This year, the PTO has several exciting plans and initiatives designed to support our students and teachers. From family events and fundraisers to volunteer opportunities, there will be many ways for you to get involved. We believe that when parents engage in their children’s education, it creates a positive and enriching environment for everyone.

I encourage each of you to find a way to participate, no matter how big or small. Your involvement makes a significant difference. Whether you can volunteer your time, your treasure, share your talents, or simply attend our events, your contribution is invaluable.

We are committed to making this school year a successful and memorable one for all our students. We look forward to working together to support our children and help them achieve their best.
